Road Block

With our journey sometimes we will run into road blocks. Things that just come up when we aren't expecting it. We feel lost, confused, and alone. We sometimes just want to give up and turn back around. We often ask God why is this happening. I know that I have felt this way and I pretty sure everyone has.

We need to stop and think. What do you do when you are going through a tough time? I know I go to God and I pray. Wow wait! We go to God! Don't you see when we are going through a tough time we draw nearer to God!  Isn't that what your goal is in life? Drawing nearer to God!

My best friend recently shared this from her Bible study with me, "David began to see that God's hand which formerly seemed to entrap him, was really leading him into His presence."  Like David we often see road blocks as God punishing us when God is really giving us a gift.  Wow the God Almighty wanting us to draw nearer to Him! Doesnt that make you feel good!

Next time you are going through a hardship or you run into a road block, think about it as a blessing. We are drawing nearer to Christ and that is the best thing to do. With Him by our side we can do anything!

Give It Your All

How many times in your life have you been told to give it your all? You know always do everything to the best of your abillity. Whether it be in sports, academics, or anything else. Ask yourself this "Do I give Christ my all?" Do you make your relationship with Christ the absolute best it can be? Hmm a little food for thought for you.

So much of our life revolves around being the best at everything. We put so much time and effort in working to get that top spot. Now don't get me wrong you should ALWAYS do everything the best you can and use the talents God has given you. How many of those talents do you use in bettering your relationship with Christ and sharing your relationship with Him to others?

We should give God are all. We should give our all in bettering our relationship with Him. Actually we should give Him EVERYTHING. While writing this I keep thinking about my favorite song "All for You" by Mikeschair. It truly is an AMAZING song. The chorus is this  'Cause it's all for You, all for You Every heart will proclaim Every tongue will shout Your praise All for You, oh, oh, oh All for You, oh, oh, oh" I encourage you to look it up.

So I pray that you try and give Christ your all and make your relationship with Him your number one priroity. Everything truly will be even more amazing with Him in your number one spot.

Love

Love. What a strong word. Love is a word that you can use in so many ways. You tell your parents you love them, you use love to describe how much you like something, and in so many other ways. So let’s stop and think. What does love mean to you?  When I think of the love one thing comes to my mind and that is GOD. God is LOVE. I can not think of anything better to describe love than our God.  My favorite saying is God is love. It is so true.

Think about someone or something that you love more than anything. Now times that love by 10,000,000,000. That does not even come close to how much our God loves us! Isn’t that just mind boggling! I know it is for me! I can’t even completely understand the concept.  When I think about The Maker of Heaven and Earth loving you and me more than anything I just am over whelmed with joy.

He loves us so much that when we are broken or take a turn for a worse He is right by our side and He always will be there. He sent Jesus Christ, Our Savior, to die for yours and my sins. He even has a special plan for each and every one of us. Wow! Everyone on this earth has a special plan. Don’t you feel loved! I know I do!

With reading this post I hope you realized how much God truly loves you. I pray that you try and love like God does and love unconditionally. God’s love is the best love. You know why because GOD IS LOVE. I truly can not think of anything better than Our God’s love.
